Register for Summer Camp

Now's the time to turn those dreams of the fun days of summer into reality for your child! We will offer ten (10) 1-week sessions.summer_camp_4.jpg

 Enrollment is very limited, so sign up early! We're looking forward to seeing your child for an exciting, exhilarating summer of great experiences.

Registration Dates

  • February 22, 2010: Early registration begins for St. Luke's church members and After-School Care students. M-F, 10 am-12pm and 4:30-6 pm.
  • March 1, 2010: Open registration begins on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will continue from this day forward until sessions are full.

Location: After-School Care Office in the Activities Center (by the gymnasium).
Parent Orientation: Friday, May 14, 2010, from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Please plan to attend!

** Children in Groups 1-6 will participate in VBS from 9 a.m. - 12 noon.

Registration Fee (non-refundable)

  • St. Luke's Member: $50.00
  • Non-Member: $100.00
  • ASC Currently Enrolled: No Fee

Grades 1st - 6th

Camp Tuition Option 1
7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
1-Week Session: $215.00
Camp Tuition Option 2
9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
1-Week Session: $200.00
  • After Care 4:30 - 6:00 p.m. is $25 per week per child and must be signed up for in advance.
  • Drop off before 9:00 a.m. is $20 per day per child for Option 2.
  • Registration fee and payment for one session are non-refundable.

Grades 7th & 8th

Camp Tuition Option 3
7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
1-Week Session: $240.00
 
  • Option 3 tuition includes early and after care and most field trip expenses.
  • Registration fee and payment for one session are non-refundable.

Registration Procedures

  1. Pick up Registration Packet at the Activities Center by the gym and complete all forms. Forms may also be downloaded via the links above.
  2. The Authorization for Treatment form must be notarized.
  3. The Medical Form must be completed by the child's physician.
  4. When registering, return the completed forms, the non-refundable registration fee, and the non-refundable deposit payment for one session. Make checks payable to St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Write Summer Kids' Kamp and your child's name on the bottom of the check. Payment by credit card is also available. Forms may also be faxed to our office at 713-961-7216. However, applications will not be processed until payment in person is received. For payment options, please see Payment Guidelines.
  5. All forms must be in our office before your child's first day of camp. No camper will be allowed to attend camp or field trips without completed forms.

Important Notes

  1. All outstanding balances with the church must be paid in order to sign up for camp.
  2. Payment must be made in person.
  3. Balance of tuition must be paid on or before the DUE DATE.
  4. Cancellations or changes (other than the non-refundable registration fee and non-refundable deposit) must be made in person at the Camp Office, on the Camp Add/Drop Form, by May 3, 2009. Sessions cancelled after May 3 will still be your financial responsibility. Campers may add sessions after May 3 if space is available and must pay for the session by 5 p.m. Monday of the prior week. Registration fee and deposit for one session are non-refundable.
  5. A fee will be charged for late payments, early drop-offs (option 2), late pick-ups, and returned checks.
  6. Late pick-ups (after 6:05 p.m.) will be charged $5 per minute per child.
  7. A camper cannot attend camp without payment in full.
  8. Camp will be closed Monday, May 31st & Monday, July 5th 2010.

Licensure and Certification
ASC and Summer Kids' Kamp Programs are licensed by the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services. All staff and counselors participate in yearly staff training and professional development offered by the Houston Area Association for the Education of Young Children (HAAEYC). All of our counselors are trained and certified in CPR and First-Aid.
